Mister Car Wash has been in business for over 38 years and began as a single store in Houston, Texas in 1969. From the very beginning we've focused on quality with an emphasis on speed and friendly service. Easy principles to believe in - but never easy to deliver - day in and day out. In order to accomplish this goal, we've surrounded ourselves with the best Managers, Cashiers, Service Advisors and Production staff and invested heavily in technology to help get the cleanest, driest car possible.

In 1996, Mister Car Wash Houston was acquired by Car Wash Partners, and the new company embarked on a growth trajectory adding locations in 7 other markets. Building upon the systems and culture that was already in place- our engineers focused on continuously improving the entire experience. New technologies include advanced chemistry solutions like Express Detail and new products and services.

Like any good company- we are never quite satisfied - and continue to look for better ways to provide an even deeper and richer shine. In the fall of 2006, we proudly introduced our all new patent pending process that progressively Prepares, Rejuvenates, Shines and Protects. Some of our exclusive top online products are:

● Triple colored anionic conditioner is now being applied to all vehicles.

Benefit: Engineered with more cleaning power to prepare the surface for all waxes that follow.

● Hotshine Carnauba Shield is an online waterfall application that blankets the vehicle with Carnauba wax for complete coverage.

Benefit: Carnauba wax is the best on line wax in the industry providing a deep and long lasting Shine.

● Hotshine Surface and Glass is a surface reactive silicone designed specifically for glass and paint that’s applied online.

Benefit: Provides resistance to the elements and acts as a vision enhancer for glass.

● Hotshine N1 Protectant is the final layer of silicone protection that lies on top of the vehicle.

Benefit: Additional layer of silicone strengthens the depth of shine and helps lock in previous wax applications.

2007 was a big year for us. In March, Mister Car Wash was acquired by ONCAP, a private equity firm based in Canada and owned by Onex Corporation, one of Canada’s largest corporations. Late in the year, Mister acquired a series of 21 car washes and 8 lube shops over an 8 week period. Those acquisitions officially made Mister the second largest conveyor carwash chain in America with a grand total of 60 carwashes, 24 fast lube shops and three convenience stores in seven states.

It's safe to say that our journey to continuously improve will never end. We're still as committed to our roots - which is to deliver a clean, dry car - fast - with great customer service - and will never waver from this dedication.
